GREENWOOD, SC - The Lenoir-Rhyne women's golf team put forth an impressive showing at the Lady Bearcat Invitational this week, taking sixth in a field than included seven top-50 teams. 

The Bears shot rounds of 304-303-302 to finish with a score of 909 (+45), four strokes ahead of #46 Erskine and 17 ahead of #37 Montevallo. 

Charlotte Colley led the Bears with an eighth place finish, her first top-ten finish of the year. She shot rounds of 75-74-73 to come through with a 222 (+6). Marta Escudero Cano also notched her first top-ten finish of the year, tying for 10th with a final tally of 224 (+8). Rounding out the top-three finishers was Eve Neild, who shot a 227 (+11) to tie for 20th.

The Bears will take a few weeks off to prepare to the SAC Championships. The tournament is set to take place on April 7-8 at the Preserve at Verdae in Greenville, South Carolina.
