HICKORY, NC - The Lenoir-Rhyne swim teams saluted their seniors on Friday night with a sweep against Converse. The men won 129-114 while the woman won 130-103.

For the men,
Judah Hall broke the school's Men's 50-Yard Butterfly record with a time of 22.84, surpassing the previous men's record of 23.18 held by Spencer Ashby. Seniors

Levi McRea each collected a pair of first-place finishes to help avenge their season opening loss at Converse.

Ella Penny and
Devin Poteat led the way for the women's team, combining for four first-place finishes in the women's 50-Yard Freestyle, 200-Yard Backstroke, 50-Yard Breastroke, and 200-Yard IM. The Women's team combined for nine first-place finishes, seven second-place finishes, and three third-place finishes.
This is the third straight year Lenoir-Rhyne and Converse have competed with the Bears sweeping the Valkyries in both genders for the first time in a meet.

Lenoir-Rhyne will have a short turnaround as they head to Carson-Newman to compete against the Eagles for their final swim meet of the regular season tomorrow. The meet is scheduled to begin at 1:00 p.m.
