JEFFERSON CITY, TN - The Lenoir-Rhyne swim teams competed against Carson-Newman and Milligan University in a dual swim meet Saturday afternoon. Men's swimming dropped both meets, 200-58 to Carson-Newman 149-109 to Milligan. On the women's side, Milligan edged out Lenoir-Rhyne 129-127 while Carson-Newman completed the sweep with a 199-58 victory to close out the meet.
Leading the way for the men was
Levi McRea, who finished second in the 1000-Yard Freestyle and 500-Yard Freestyle while
Christopher Glebus placed second in the 200-Yard Freestyle and 100-Yard Freestyle. Both McRea and Glebus helped the Bears place third in the 400-Yard Freestyle Relay with a time of 3:11.36.
Ella Penny led the charge on the women's side with two top-five finishes in the 200-Yard Backstroke (2nd) and 200-Yard IM (4th).
Addison Bartemeyer placed third in the 200-Yard Butterfly and 100-Yard Butterfly while helping the Bears place third in the 400-Yard Freestyle Relay with a time of 3:44.88.
