HICKORY, NC — The Lenoir-Rhyne University Bears Club announced its staffing team for 2026, highlighting the continued growth and momentum of the department's fundraising and engagement efforts in support of Bears student-athletes.
Eli Stone has been named Assistant Director of the Bears Club, expanding his role within the LR athletic department. In his new position, Stone will support Bears Club operations, assist with donor relations, and focus on increasing membership.
Stone brings valuable operational insight and a strong understanding of Bears athletics to the role, strengthening collaboration between the Bears Club and the broader athletics department.
Shayna Skonieczki has been promoted to Associate Director of the Bears Club following several impactful years as part of the Bears Club staff. Since joining the Bears Club staff in 2022, Skonieczki has played a vital role in the planning and execution of various fundraising and engagement events, including the Annual Social, Silent Auction, Hanley Painter Memorial Outing, and Spring Raffle.
In her expanded role, Skonieczki will continue to lead event strategy, donor engagement efforts, and day-to-day operations while supporting long-term growth of the Bears Club.
