JEFFERSON CITY, TN - Due to impending weather this weekend the Lenoir-Rhyne softball doubleheader at Carson-Newman has been moved up a day to Friday at 1:00 and 3:00 p.m.

This series will determine the 2026 SAC regular season champions. Should the Bears win both they would win the title outright, giving them their first regular season championships since 2018. If the teams split they would share the conference crown. Anderson, who shares the same conference record as Carson-Newman (16-4), could also join in the championship fun as they take on Emory & Henry on Sunday. 

Regardless of tomorrow's result Lenoir-Rhyne has clinched a top four seed in the SAC tournament and will host a three-game opening series in Hickory on May 1st and 2nd.
