HICKORY, N.C. - The Lenoir-Rhyne softball team has been ranked No. 16 in the final NFCA Poll.
The Bears finished the season with a 41-15 (19-3 SAC) record and won their 13th South Atlantic Conference Regular Season title. Lenoir-Rhyne won two games at the NCAA Southeast Regional, the 10th time in program history they have won multiple games in an NCAA postseason.Â
Madison Wilson won SAC Pitcher of the Year while a total of six Bears were named to the All-SAC team. Wilson,
Madison Primm,
Lani Warren, and
Faith Carrigan were also NFCA All-Region honorees.Â
This is the fifth best end-of-season ranking in program history.
