HICKORY, N.C. - The Lenoir-Rhyne softball team will be making their 18th NCAA appearance this weekend as they earned the No. 3 seed in the Southeast Regional. 

The Bears will face No. 6 seeded Anderson in the opening round. All games this weekend will take place in Florence, South Carolina, on the campus of Francis Marion University. The Bears and Trojans will face off on Thursday night at 6:00 p.m. following the conclusion of France Marion vs. Carson-Newman. 

Both sides of the Southeast Regional, with the other taking place at the University of North Georgia, are four team, double elimination brackets. The winner of Thursday's games will play each other on Friday at 1:00 p.m., while the losers will take part in an elimination game later that day at 4:00 p.m.
