ROCK HILL, S.C. -
Slade Aliff has been named the SAC Men's Golf Scholar Athlete of the Year, as announced by the conference on Tuesday.
Aliff was the high finisher for the Bears at the most recent SAC Championship. Throughout the year he held a 72.9 average and two top-ten finishes.
Outside of the course, Aliff is a management major and holds a 3.85 GPA. He has been honored with the D2ADA Academic Achievement award and been named to the SAC Commissioner's Honor Roll. He is a 4x Dean's list, a 1x President's list honoree, and a Chi Alpha Sigma and Delta Mu Delta member. In addition to his education, Aliff spends time in the summer as a volunteer instructor at the Roanoke Country Club and is a First Tee volunteer coach. He also spent time volunteer at the Catawba Springs Golf Course with the Lenoir-Rhyne golf team.
This is Lenoir-Rhyne golf's first Scholar-Athlete of the Year.
