Clearwater, Fla-- The Lenoir-Rhyne Men's Swimming team wrapped up the most successful week in program history at the Spartan Invite. Between the Men's and Women's teams, the week saw 37 record-breaking swims, 26 team records broken and 12 NCAA 'B' cut times.

Day 4 saw more records to fall.
Micah McRea broke the school record on his way to a 4th place finish in the 200 breast. McRea time of 2:00.46 was good for another NCAA 'B' cut time. McRea now qualified for four events for Nationals this week.
However McRea was not done, in the last event of the evening McRea started off the 400 free relay with a :45.32. His time was good for a school record that
Spencer Ashby broke earlier that evening. The 400 free relay finished 5th with a time of 3:03.50. The team consisting of Mcrea, Ashby,
Dillon Carey and
Jacob Greene which broke the school record by over three seconds.
Overall the Bears finished 5th with a total of 315.5 points.
The Bears will return to the pool on Saturday January 4th at Barton.
