"Today was a good challenge for our guys," said Head Coach
Tom Rees. "We came back to win after losing the doubles point which shows a lot of character. Matches like today where we had to tough out a victory will make us stronger in the future."
HOW IT HAPPENED
The Bears dropped first and second doubles to start the afternoon and salvaged a win in the third spot but fell in an early 1-0 hole.
Rhodri Atkinson earn the first singles victory in the number three spot with a 6-2, 6-0 win. The second singles victory came from the number six spot as
Mauricio Hernandez took a 6-1, 6-2 win to put LR ahead 2-1. After a win in number five singles, the clincher came from
Hamed Gandouz in the first line. Gandouz came away with a 6-0, 6-1 win to clinch the victory. NGU would steal a win at number two for their only singles win of the day.
