Box Score Belmont N.C.-- Lenoir Rhyne's Baseball Team won their third straight game beating Belmont Abbey 7-3 on Wednesday evening.
Manny Montes went 3-3 and
Xander Ferlenda went 2-5 with a run and rbi to lead the Bears.

STATS OF GAME:
- Joey Cobb got the start going for the Bears, pitching four innings only allowing two runs (one earned) while striking out five.
- Hayden Gresham, Michael Allen, Brett Fulk and Nolan Flachofsky combined for four scoreless innings out of the bullpen for the Bears. Bears pitchers struck out 14 Crusaders on the night.
- Will Jones got LR going with a two-run double in the Bears three-run first inning. It was Jones's 17th and 18th RBIs on the season already.
- Up 4-2 after five, The Bears scored three unearned runs in the sixth to take a 7-2 lead and the Bears bullpen locked down the final twelve outs for the victory.
- Manny Montes went 3-3 for the Bears, scoring two runs and Ferlenda went 2-5 on the evening. Ferlenda and Montes were the only Bears with multiple hits on the evening however the Bears 1 through 5 in their lineup did each have at least one hit.

- Lenoir-Rhyne has swept the non-conference series this year with Belmont Abbey. Bears won a 2-1 game two-weeks ago in Hickory.
