Final Results

MONROE, N.C. - Lenoir-Rhyne men's golf finished tied for 5th in the 12-team Ralph Hargett Memorial at Rolling Hills Country Club in Monroe, N.C. LR tied with host Wingate for 5th, finishing two shots behind Flagler for 4th place. Belmont Abbey won the team title by nine strokes with a final team tally of 867.

Cole Sutherland grabbed a top-10 finish in the individual competition for the Bears, finishing T-8 with a 218 (+2) after a final round 75 today. Sutherland finished the tournament -9 on Par 5s, which was the best in the field, and also made 12 birdies during the tournament, which was the second most in the field. 

Following up Sutherland for the Bears was Matthew Raybould with a 220 (+4), Hank Robins with a 226 (+10), Liam Waldron with a 228 (+12), and Tyler Hashmi with a 232 (+16). 

The Bears are off next week, and have one more tune-up before the SAC Championship at the Tennessee River Rumble at Windriver Golf Club in Lenoir City, Tenn. on March 28-29.
