GREENWOOD, S.C. - Competing at the Bearcat Golf Classic at the Greenwood Country Club,
Liam Waldron claimed a top-10 finish with a three round score of 215. As a team, the Bears finished tied for 12th with a team score of 889.
Waldron finished day one with rounds of 73 and 72 before saving his best for last. In the final day of the tournament, Waldron fired a 70 to finish in a 10th place tie out of 112 golfers. Waldron was -1 on the tournament and was the fifth-highest finisher in the South Atlantic Conference.
Matthew Raybould was the second-best golfer for LR over the tournament, firing a 222 and recovering from an opening round 78 to respond with rounds of 72 to close out the tournament in 36th place.
Cole Sutherland,
Tyler Hashmi and
Dawson Walker rounded out the top five for the Bears with scores of 228, 230 and 236 respectively.
