Hickory, N.C.-- The Lenoir-Rhyne Men's Swimming Team fell to Queens on Friday night 176-63 in Charlotte.
Micah McRea had a two second place finishes and
Nathan McCormick won the 200 IM.
Queens won the first twelve events but the Bears finished strong winning the last two events of the night. McCormick finished first in the 200 IM with a 2:03.76 then the relay team of
Davis Hull,
Levi McRea,
Micah McRea and
Cooper Sledge finished the 200 Freestyle Relay with a 1:29.84 time.
Micah McRea had a couple silver finishes on Friday evening. McRea finished second in the 1000 free with a 9:45.07 time then a time of 4:45.34 in the 500 free later that evening.
Levi McRea finished third in the 200 free with 1:46.19 with teammate
Christopher Glebus right behind him for a fourth place finish. Glebus later finished second in the 100 Free with a time of 48.82.
Bears will return to the pool Saturday for Senior Day to face King inside Shuford Pool.
