The fifth-seed Lenoir-Rhyne Men's Lacrosse Team stays in Florida after beating fourth-seed Tampa on Wednesday by a final score of 10-9 and is set to take on the South Region's top seed Rollins. Each program comes in ranked in the nation's top five with the Bears at No. 5 and Rollins ranked No. 2. The winner of this game moves on to the Regional Final and National Semifinal next Sunday and will play the winner of Limestone/UIndy.

Veterans vs. Newbies: This game will feature a clash of experience in postseason play as Rollins is playing in their first NCAA Tournament game in program history. Meanwhile, Lenoir-Rhyne is entering game number 10 in NCAA Tournament play and Myles Moffat will be in his ninth tournament game individually.

Back in the Quarters: Lenoir-Rhyne is the only program in the South Region that can boast three straight trips to the National Quarterfinal round of the NCAA Tournament. The Bears advanced to a National Championship game in 2021 and fell in the Quarterfinal round last year at Tampa, 13-11.

Streaking Tars: Rollins earned the No. 1 seed in the region thanks in large part to a 10-game winning streak to close out the year. For the first time in program history, Rollins captured the SSC Regular Season Title and a SSC Tournament Championship. Rollins garnered both the SSC Player and Coach of the Year awards. Shahe Katchadurian earned the league's Player of the Year honors as the Syracuse transfer became the first goalkeeper ever to win the award. The conference Coach of the Year went to Chris Lewis who has gone 73-39 at Rollins in his career.

First Since 2011: Lenoir-Rhyne hasn't traveled to Florida to take on Rollins since March 27, 2011. The Bears won that game by a final score of 13-12 and have a perfect 4-0 mark against Rollins. The Bears and Tars haven't matched up since the 2017 season.

Coach P: Lenoir-Rhyne's Greg Paradine is a two-time National Coach of the Year and the only head coach in LR Men's Lax history. Paradine moved into 12th place in the winningest active DII rankings with his 136 career victories and now ranks ninth among active Division II coaches in career winning percentage at .670.
