Myles Moffat returns to Lenoir-Rhyne as an assistant coach following the departure of longtime assistant Ned Kaish, who was named the head men's lacrosse coach at Berry College in Georgia. 

Moffat, one of the most accomplished athletes in Lenoir-Rhyne history, comes back to Hickory following a season coaching at fellow South Atlantic Conference school Catawba. While in Salisbury, Moffat helped the Catawba Indians to an 11-4 record and their highest national ranking since 2012. At the conclusion of the season, Owen Conway and Kier McKnight were named to the USILA All-America team. 

As an athlete with the Bears, Moffat was a 4x SAC Scholar-Athlete of the Year, 4x All-Conference honoree, 2x CSC Academic All-American, 2x SAC President's Award winner, 2x USILA All-American, the 2018 SAC Freshman of the Year, and 2021 SAC Man of the Year.

In 2023 he led the Bears to the first national championship in program history. His postseason highlight came in the semi-final vs. Limestone, where he scored a hat trick and dished out two assists. In 2021 he was named SAC Man of the Year and led the team to the first national championship game appearance in program history. Moffat is Lenoir-Rhyne's all-time assist (123) and games played (82) leader, and ranks second all-time in points (294), goals (171), and points per game (3.59). 

Moffat is a native of Airdrie, Alberta, Canada, and graduated from Bert Church High School.
