HICKORY, N.C. - The Lenoir-Rhyne men's lacrosse and men's golf teams have placed a combined six athletes on the CSC Academic All-District team. The At Large team consists of sports that are not sponsored by a majority of collegiate athletic departments across the country, including golf, lacrosse, men's volleyball, wrestling, water polo, bowling, skiing, and ice hockey.
Slade Aliff was the lone honoree from men's golf, while
Morgan Madish,
Deacon Medwick,
Donovan Powell,
Cooper Starcke, and
Sloan Steward made up the men's lacrosse honorees.
The 2025–26 Academic All-District teams, chosen by College Sports Communicators, honor top student-athletes for excellence in both academics and athletics across all collegiate divisions. To qualify, athletes must have a minimum GPA of 3.5 and either have started in 66% or participated in 90% of their games and/or matches during the season.
Due to on-field performance,
Slade Aliff and
Donovan Powell have been selected for Academic All-America consideration. The Men's At Large All-America team will be announced at noon on Wednesday, July 8th.
