HICKORY, N.C. -- The Lenoir-Rhyne men's lacrosse team had six players named USILA All-Americans as announced by the organization this afternoon. The Bears had three on the Second Team, one on the Third Team and a pair of Honorable Mentions. The six All-Americans in one season is a program record and brings the LR total to 22 All-Americans in team history.

Riley Seay, Colten McCracken and Toron Eccleston rounded out the Second Team All-American selections. Eccleston's 57 goals this season are the second-most in a single season in program history and his 84 points rank third. Eccleston became just the fourth player in program history to reach 200 career points and did so in the SAC Championship game against Limestone. McCracken earned a first team selection as a defensive midfielder with his four goals and five assists along with 32 ground balls and nine caused turnovers. Thanks in large part to McCracken's defense, the Bears rank in the top five in the nation in fewest goals allowed per game. Seay, a transfer from Loyola, was great in his first year at LR and has 32 goals and 16 assists as a midfielder. He scored the game-winning goal in overtime to defeat Limestone 18-17 in the regular season. 

Victor Powell was a Third Team selection despite missing six games due to injury. Powell, one of the best defenders in the nation, has 25 caused turnovers and 28 ground balls in his 14 games played and was a First Team All-Conference selection. 

Myles Moffat and Nate Ashley were named Honorable Mention All-Americans.

The previous record was five All-Americans in the 2021 season.
