Final Results
St. Augustine, Fla.-- The Lenoir-Rhyne Men's Golf Team finished second at the Jay Jennison Cup on Tuesday afternoon. The Bears finished -17 for the tournament, which was six strokes off the lead as Palm Beach Atlantic took home the team title. The -17 was the best tournament score for the Bears in the history of the program. The previous best was a -14 at the David Ross Invitational during the 2018-19 season.Â
After shooting a 285 and a 276 on Monday, the Bears shot a 286 in the final round, which was good for the third lowest score of the day as
Sam Mace lead the Bears with a two under par to finish in 7th place.Â
Sean Finan and
Matthew McDougall each shot a 71 in the final round as Finan finished in 8th place while McDougall came away with a 16th place finish.Â
Mads Emil Boas finished in 23nd place while
Holt Allison had a 31st finish place as all five of the Bears finished in the top half of the 73 player field.Â
Bears will have back in action on Sunday at the Lander Invitational.Â
