Final Results
St. Augustine, Fla.-- The Lenoir-Rhyne Men's Golf team opened the 2024 spring season with a 7th place finish in the 2024 Spring Kick-Off hosted by Lincoln Memorial.
Sean Finan earned his sixth career top-10 finish as Finan shot a 76 in round three to finish in 10th place.
Holt Allison slipped from 5th place to 13th on the final day with a 79 as the Bears shot just +21 on the final day to finish in seventh place, tied with Coker. North Georiga took home the team event with a two stroke victory over Lander.
LR finished third overall on Par 3s on the week but had trouble on the Par 5s as the Bears finished the Par 5s at +1, ninth best on the week. LR had 39 birdies in the three rounds and Allison had an eagle. Finan led the Bears with 11 birdies during the 54 holes.
Mads Emil Boas shot a 74, 73 and a final round 78 to finish in 34th place while
Matthew McDougall improved his final round by two shots but finishes in 63th place while
Hank Robins finished five spots behind McDougall in 68th place.
The Bears will return to the course in two weeks at the Barton Bulldog Clash in Pawleys Island, South Carolina.
