MARS HILL, NC - The Lenoir-Rhyne swim teams competed against Mars Hill and King University in a tri-swim meet on Saturday afternoon. Men's swimming collected their first two wins of the season with a tight 102-98 victory against Mars Hill and concluded the evening with a dominant 117.50-80.50 win against King. On the other side, women's swimming dropped their first meet against Mars Hill 118-86 but responded with a 135-68 win against King.
Leading the way for the men was
Renato Herran, who won the 100 Yard Freestyle, and
Christopher Forsey, who finished first in the 100 Yard Breaststroke.
Christopher Glebus finished third in the 100 Yard Backstroke with a time of 55.03 and helped the Bears place second in the 200 Yard Freestyle Relay.
Addison Bartemeyer led the charge on the women's side with two top-five finishes in the 200 Yard Freestyle (1st) and 100 Yard Butterfly (3rd).
Olivia DeRosier won the 200 Yard IM and helped the Bears place first in the 200 Yard Medley Relay with a time of 1:55.31.
