SALISBURY, N.C. - The Lenoir-Rhyne men's and women's swim teams competed in their third conference competition with a meet at Catawba on Friday. The Catawba Indians came away with wins on both sides, taking down the men 198-42 and the women 207-42.
The top finishers for the men were
Levi McRea and
Renato Herran, who both earned top-five finishes in the Men's 50 Yard Freestyle. Lenoir-Rhyne finished third in the 200 Yard Medley Relay with
Ben Swetckie,
Christopher Forsey,
Renato Herran, and
Cohen Singletary posting a time of 1:39.29.
Leading the way for the women was
Sky Jones, who finished with third in the Women's 100 Yard Breastroke. She joined
Ella Penny,
Addison Bartemeyer, and
Devin Poteat on the 200-Yard Medley Relay team that finished third with a time of 1:57.06.

Lenoir-Rhyne will compete in their first home swim meet of the season on January 10th against Wheeling. The meet is scheduled to begin at 11:00 a.m. in the Shuford Pool.
