Lenoir-Rhyne earns #3 seed in Southeast Regional; Will face North Georgia on Thursday at 3:00 p.m.

HICKORY, NC - For the third time in Lenoir-Rhyne Baseball history the Bears will be going to the NCAA Tournament. This year they earn the #3 seed in the Southeast Region, which will be hosted by #2 seed Belmont Abbey. The Crusaders are 40-15 and won the Conference Carolinas Tournament earlier last week.

The Bears will face off against #6 seed North Georgia on Thursday at 3:00 p.m. The Nighthawks are 39-15 and fell in the semi-finals of the Peach Belt Tournament to Columbus State last Monday. Lenoir-Rhyne sits at 43-12 and advanced to the SAC Championship series this past weekend in Asheboro. 

Catawba earned the #1 seed in the Southeast and will host North Greenville, Young Harris, and Lander on their side of the bracket. The winner of the Catawba and Belmont Abbey regionals will face off in a super regional at the highest remaining seed on May 22-24. 

All tickets will be general admission and are day passes. Adults are $10, kids 10 and under are $3, and children under three get in free.
