HICKORY, NC – Lenoir-Rhyne University has announced that Sean Weddell is resigning from his position as Head Men's and Women's Swimming Coach.
 
Weddell recently finished his first season which culminated with the 2025 South Atlantic Conference Swim Championships.
 
"We appreciate Sean's passion for swimming and wish him the best in his future coaching endeavors," said Vice President for Athletics Daron Montgomery.
 
Jake Berry, Senior Associate Athletic Director (and sport administrator for the swimming programs) will oversee both programs as a national search gets underway.
