Mike Everett played four seasons for the Bears' football team from 1972 to 1975. Everett was the quarterback and the captain of the 1975 team which won the first ever South Atlantic Conference Championship. He also was named to the All-SAC Second Team in 1974 and currently ranks third on L-R's career list for completion percentage (.551) and tenth in touchdown passes with 20.  Everett also quarterbacked the L-R Team in 1974 that accumulated 914 yards of total offense including the all-time collegiate rushing mark of 837 yards against Davidson (a 69-14 win).  After college, Everett was Vice President of Everett Chevrolet (1976-84), President of Michael Everett Chevrolet (1984-92), President of Everett, Inc. (1992-2008) and President of Mike Everett Mitsubishi (2001-07). Mike and his wife, Ruth Anne, have one son: Adam.
