Lenoir-Rhyne University Athletics

Brown ('78) was a four-year letterwinner (1975-78) on the men's basketball team. As a Bear, Brown served as a team captain and won team defensive player-of-the-year honors twice. On the all-time school charts, Brown ranks eighth in points (1,605), sixth in rebounds (859), seventh in assists (370) and night in steals (142).  Brown has taught in the Guilford County (N.C.) school system for 25 years and has been Head Men's Basketball Coach at Southern Guilford High School where he was a three-time Coach-of-the-Year winner at the time of his induction.  Brown has two children: Beth and Zackery.
