Sperotto ('58) lettered four years in football (1954-57) and two in baseball (1955-56). On the gridiron, Speretto earned All-North State Conference honors twice and was an honorable mention All-American and All-North Carolina State football team pick as a senior in 1957.   Sperotto's final three teams from 1955 through '57 combined to go 27-2-2 while capturing three conference titles.  After graduation, Sperotto worked for the special services of the U.S. Army and earned his master's degree from West Virginia in 1961.  Sperotto taught in the Westmoreland-Alleghany Counties (Pa.) school systems for 31 years and has been independently selling fine jewelry for the past 25 years.  Sperotto lives in Greensburg, Pa., with his wife, Dorothy.  The couple has two children: Mark and Donna.
