Brandi Mueller (Lenoir-Rhyne, 2005) is one of the best softball players in school history. Mueller started every game all four seasons with the Bears (2001-05) and led the program to its first-ever NCAA Division II Playoff berth in 2002. Mueller was a four-time All-South Atlantic Conference honoree as well and ranks third all-time in school history in hits with 248 to go along with a .350 batting average. Mueller also led the Bears to a pair of SAC Tournament Championships in 2001 and 2002 and the 2004 South Atlantic Conference Regular Season Title. The Bears won 142 games the four seasons Mueller played as well. Mueller graduated Magna Cum Laude in athletic training from Lenoir-Rhyne and has been a certified athletic trainer since 2005.
