Hall of Fame
White was a four-year letterwinner on the football team from 1961 to 1964 and earned All-Carolinas Conference and NAIA All-District honors twice (1963-64). White, who earned honorable mention All-American honors as well in 1964, was part of two conference title teams (1961-62) and one national runner up squad in 1962.  White also had professional stints for the Charlotte Vikings in the Southern Professional Football League in 1965 and the Quantico  Marines Football Team (1966).  White is currently self-employed with American Omnitrading Company, Accel Discount Tire and White Tire Center in Hickory, N.C.
