Amber Holt Collier (Lenoir-Rhyne, 2010) was a two-sport standout at Lenoir-Rhyne and made huge contributions on the court and the pitch for the Bears.
In basketball, Collier ranks sixth in LR history in points scored (1,502) and fourth in program history in assists (409). Her 136 career 3-pointers made is fourth all-time at LR and she was named All-Conference all four years. Collier was named the 2006-07 SAC Freshman of the Year and helped LR to back-to-back SAC Regular Season Titles (2008-09, 2009-10) as well as a SAC Tournament Championship in 2008-09.
On the soccer field, Collier was a two-time First Team All-Conference and Second Team All-Region selection. She led the Bears in goals (9) and points (23) in 2010 and helped that squad to a 19-2-2 record, the most wins in a season in team history. She led LR to Regular Season and Conference Tournament titles in 2010 and a spot in the National Quarterfinal of the NCAA Tournament.
